September 2-hour Design Consultation Sessions - Book Now!

What August Taught Us About Why People Book!

Over the past month, we’ve had the privilege of helping some incredible families and professionals get back on track with their homes, and their headspace.

What links these design consultations isn’t a particular style or square footage. It’s this: they all reached a point where they couldn’t move forward without help. Whether it was decision fatigue, shifting family needs, or simply a case of too many tabs open (in their minds and on their browsers), these sessions gave people what they needed most, clarity.

Here’s a glimpse into the some of the design conversations we had in August:

Primrose Hill
A beautiful townhouse, home to two working parents and three energetic kids, all still feeling the long tail of pandemic life. The ground floor layout no longer supported their routines or state of mind.
We mapped out a plan for a more intentional flow that separates family life from adult zones, discussed hiring a home organiser, and scoped out the early stages of a full-service redesign for the open-plan first floor. We even styled the bookshelves while we were there — and yes, it really blew their minds. Small changes, big energy shift.

Zoom Consultation: Cambridge #1
A practical and accomplished academic couple navigating a heavy renovation, full-time jobs, parenting, bereavement and a £150k increase in build costs. By their own admission, they weren’t "creative" but they had exceptional taste and strong instincts.
We helped them prioritise their biggest worries (layout, glazing, end use, hard finishes), sanity-check their architect’s plans, and put together a short-term action list. Most of all, we gave them space to talk, recalibrate, and get excited again.

Zoom Consultation: Cambridge #2
Coincidentally, another session just down the road, this time a recently purchased barn conversion. The couple are right at the start of their journey, having just completed on the purchase. Full of ideas and enthusiasm, but wise enough to know their energy and time won’t last forever. This was about asking the right questions early, mapping out realistic expectations, and making the most of their momentum.

These are the kinds of homes, and the kinds of people, we love to work with.

Our design consultations aren’t just about choosing tiles or cushions (though we love doing that too). They’re about helping you see the big picture, get out of the overwhelm, and move forward with confidence.

If you’re thinking about a change, whether it’s reimagining a single room or planning a full renovation, booking a two-hour session is a smart, pressure-free first step.

Our September slots are now open.
