THE BRIEFThis project centred on turning a dated Edwardian house into a warm and modern family home, tailored to reflect the unique personality of its owners. With a growing family of three, the goal was to reimagine how the spaces could work for them, creating a home that felt inviting, functional, and truly their own. The design needed to honour the property’s period charm while introducing a fresh, contemporary aesthetic that suited their lifestyle. Key areas for transformation included the ground floor, kitchen, bathrooms, and living areas, with a focus on improving the overall flow and usability of the space.
SERVICESTaking a phased approach, our involvement spanned the ground floor, kitchen, guest WC, utility room, living room, principal bedroom, family bathroom, and hallway. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure a harmonious blend of modern design and Edwardian character. The result is a home that feels distinctly personal, shedding the dated style of its past and becoming a space the family can truly call their own. Now a family of three, their home has been transformed into something almost unrecognisable from the house they originally purchased, beautifully tailored to meet their needs and lifestyle.
