#TBT BECAUSE WE ALL LOVE A BEFORE & AFTER - KENSAL RISE THROUGH LIVING ROOM, LONDON

This weeks #tbt isnt quite as dramatic as previous weeks. As actually the before pictures are really nice. However the homeowner wanted a refresh with the reconfiguring of some of the rest of the house and with the introduction of new flooring through out it made sense to shake things up. So drama was called for and why not?

The through living room was divided into dark and dramatic and light and Scandi vibe. Both sides of the room work beautifully. The dark room is super luxurious with all areas painted in Farrow & Ball Railings. Heavy double sided black and Grey curtains divide the space. It really feels like a private members nook. Pitch black for a little R&R. Soft lighting from three sources create an atmosphere conducive to doing...absolutely nothing. (how good does that sound!)

 The flip side is painted pale grey with a new fireplace, super deep luxurious navy love seats and pouffe. A drinks cabinet and lots of low maintenance faux plants.

The flooring is oversize parquet which looks amazing through out the home. A truly unique feel for how this growing modern family live.
