Finsbury Park (Zoom from Oxford)

A soon-to-be London couple trading Oxford for a beautiful four-storey house in Finsbury Park. They arrived at the Zoom armed with documents, questions and zero creative ego. Just a clear need for expertise and very keen to simply hand over the project to a professional.
We mapped out scope, phasing and design direction to shape a detailed fee proposal. They’re time-poor, not creatively inclined, and fully committed to handing it over. Dream client territory!!

Brondesbury Park

The classic “what have I done?” moment. House stripped back to brick, no roof, and full-on decision fatigue.
We talked through everything. The silly questions (which are never silly) and the real sticking points.
This client had even asked ChatGPT for layout suggestions. Result: a coffered ceiling in a period Arts and Crafts house. No, thank you.
We're not worried about our jobs just yet!!

Hampstead Garden Suburb

A newly purchased home with charm in the bones, but absolutely no soul. Think bargain-basement minimalism from the previous owner.
The client wasn’t sure if her vision could work on such a cold canvas. We explored how to layer back in character, discussed joinery that would make a real impact, and grounded it all with realistic cost expectations.
