PROJECT: Residential - Kensal Rise, NW10
THE HOME OWNERS & THE PROPERTY: A lovely Victorian family house remodelled by local architects.
THE BRIEF: After living in the space for a couple of years they wanted to build on the initial blank canvas. The interiors needed to meet the young families growing needs. Injecting colour and personality throughout the house to make it feel like home. Ticking many outstanding items off the mental to do list for the client. The children have beautiful spaces to play and relax as do the adults. A home now fun and personal to this family of four!
SERVICES: Full design concepts, moods boards & floor plans produced. Sourcing of furniture and fixtures. Born & Bred completed the renovations working with our trades and contacts.

“We hired Lisa after renovating our new house in 2016 and as our focus had been on structurally having the correct layout we felt at the end, the house had little personality.All the bedrooms were the same colour and the kitchen felt very clinical. Lisa changed all of that by redecorating the children’s bedrooms using their interests whilst remaining practical at all times. Next was the rather cluttered master bedroom where she converted a small bedroom in the eaves to create a beautiful dressing room so that we could remove a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The end result was a luxurious, spacious bedroom. Where the kitchen seemed rather clinical, she created a gallery wall and added a rug to soften it a little. Finally in the playroom she added a gallery wall of framed pieces of the children’s art! We are beyond delighted with the end result and love spending time at home now. Lisa is lovely and was really fantastic to work with, she made the whole experience super easy and really invested a lot of her time to help deliver the perfect result including dressing all of the rooms (I came home to find her hoovering one day!) I cannot recommend her highly enough!”
