UPMINSTER 1930’S HOUSE

PROJECT: Residential - Upminster, Essex.

THE HOME OWNERS & THE PROPERTY: A beautiful newly reconfigured family home on the outskirts of London.

THE BRIEF: After the initial extension work the family tired of their safe colour choice (which they had lived with for a couple of years). They called on our services to inject colour, pattern and texture in the main open plan living area, adult living room and hallway. It was very important their new home reflected their love for design classics, bold prints and their growing families personality.

SERVICES: Full design concepts, moods boards & floor plans produced. Sourcing of furniture and fixtures. Born & Bred completed the renovations working alongside the clients tradesmen.

Working with Lisa really was a great experience. She took the time to understand what it was we wanted to accomplish with our home, rather than trying to impose a pre-determined blueprint. Lisa’s professionalism gave us the confidence to move away from a very safe white interior to a bold and contemporary colour and pattern palette. She took in to account our love of design classics and coordinated an interior around this. Lisa was always on hand to discuss any ideas or issues as they arose and provided very clear guidelines to allow the tradesmen to deliver the final product. We have already asked Lisa to help us with another part of our home and would not hesitate in recommending her interior design service.
