OUR KIDS E-INTERIORS - IS IT FOR YOU?

We introduced Kids E-Interiors last year to offer an alternative to our established bespoke interior service. Why? Simply I became a mama. My eyes were open to a whole new world of 'stuff' and a whole new group of influences. I was blown away by the level of kids 'stuff' on the market (most of which was a complete waste of money). Most mothers I have met have a keen eye for interiors and cannot resist spending on their off spring. However they may not have the time nor the inclination to bring together the look they desire. And weather a reluctant mother or earth mother to be, there is one thing we have in common at some point during the pregnancy ...NESTING!

You know the desire to create an organised, clean space (or the irrational need to clean everything) is NEVER more apparent then in the nesting stage of pregnancy. Nesting....

"This urge to clean and organize is known as nesting. Nesting during pregnancy is the overwhelming desire to get your home ready for your new baby. The nesting instinct is strongest in the later weeks coming up on delivery. It is an old wives' tale that once nesting urges begin, labor is about to come on."

I have been accused of being a cynic in my time and I would have dismissed it as an old wife tale. But tis true people. I mean at one point I was cleaning the house keys with a toothbrush! There were more sane activities one of which was prepping the babies room down to storage boxes for the nappies. I was one of (it would seem) very few who did not know the sex of the little dot. So I went for a gender neutral scheme and after much research everything was ready for the babies arrival. This process is incredibley time consuming. Even for a professional as the choice can be crippling.  And lets face it trawling the internet for (well anything) is not everyones idea of fun. In fact most of the mums I have met have a clear idea of what they want but don't know how to achieve the final look. And in some cases have purchased all the goods but it just doesn't look right. Like with so many services (wether a cleaner, tradesman, gardener) your buying time. And hiring an interior designer is no different and its one huge tick off your list. Particularly with your first pregnancy you maybe working full time, only have two weeks off before the babies arrival. By which time you won't be able (nor want to) to move too far from your home. And what time you have is best spent having a mani, swim, afternoon tea, date night. So the birth of Born & Bred E-Interiors for kids was born...simple. A series of six packages from an hours consultation to the full distance package which includes furniture sourcing, paint and wallpaper. And the best part with e-interiors its a fixed price so you can budget accordingly.

How it works. Easy...

1. Fill out the questionnaire after shop checkout

2.  Measure room in cm and list any restrictions and specify any remaining furniture with measurements. Share any inspirational images with us if you desire (no pressure).

3.  We will be in touch via email/telephone (depending on your package choice). We will start designing and collating and get back to you within 14 days with a mood boards and a detailed shopping list with links for your quick reference.
