THE HOME OWNERS & THE PROPERTY: A ground floor flat in a typical Victorian terrace house. A beautiful modern infill extension. Honouring its Victorian bones but upgrading the flat aesthetically and practically for modern life. Home to a couple and a new born baby.
THE BRIEF: A complete ground floor flat renovation project across all rooms to create a beautiful home. Side return extension, kitchen, bedrooms, and court yard city garden.
SERVICES: Full design concepts, moods boards & floor plans produced. Sourcing of furniture and fixtures. Born & Bred completed the renovation working along side the clients trades & contacts.

We only have a small flat, but nothing will ever prepare you for the sheer numbers of decisions that need to be made. From sockets, switches and lights to paint colours, wallpaper and tiles (and all the different coloured grout you’ll need for every tile), the decisions that need to be made are endless. Lisa is a genuine expert in every field here and we could not have navigated it without her. Having someone with this knowledge on your team is so reassuring and her knowledge of what needs to be bought along with her recommendations of which shops to buy everything from is a life saver.
Lisa worked with our brief and gave us tonnes of options in terms of paint colours, wallpaper, furnishings, lighting and flooring. With the moodboards and CADs she created we were able to really visualise the space and make decisions we may not have made without them. Picking paint colours and wardrobes can be daunting when your committing to spending so much, so to be able to visualise these choices meant we knew what we’re getting and have no regrets. We are on the final stretch of everything being completed and already our home has beaten all expectations.
